A reflection note

Today I would like to write a reflection note about things that I did this semester at your classes.

The first useful thing is that I created my own account on Blogger.com and now I’m able not only to publish my comments or essays, but also see writings of my group mates and leave my comments under their posts. I find it very convenient to use this website because we receive our homework here and we can do our tasks not only during our class, but also at home.Another useful thing is “The Citation Machine”  and "Bitly.com"which help me to shorten my links and use them in my essays. I think that I will use “The Citation Machine” in future when I will write  my  essays on this website.

However, the website called “The Blogger” has some disadvantages, like: long loading and problems with working. For example, there were some situations when I finally wrote my comment under your post and when I pressed a button “publish”, and then my comment was canceled and I had to write it one more time! That was so annoying.

I hope that our future classes will be more interesting and informative . It would be great, if you will include some themes for discussion in oral or written form during our classes. For example, themes which are connected with relationships in a family, (or between man and woman) ,the job search in the specialty, and the impact of social networks on a person...

Human Envy on Social Networks

   The article "How to be happy when everyone else ‘ s life looks perfect" written by Moya Sarner is devoted to the discussion of the problem of human envy.     First, the author draws our attention to envy on social networks.As we all know, social networks, such as Instagram, Vk, Facebook and so on were created not only for communication between people, but also for sharing news, photos or videos with them. Being on social networks, we expect people to see their actual life on their accounts but it is not always so.... In most cases we face to a photoshopped life on social networks or, in other words, just an edited verson of reality.     The author analyzes that ordinary users take these photoshopped pictures at face value and start being depressed or even envious about it. Film Review/ 'Escape Room'

Yesterday I watched an exciting movie which is called ‘Escape Room’. It’s a psychological horror mystery film, as it is full frightening action moments which keeps you in suspense during the whole film. I think that ‘Columbia Pictures’ did a great job because this film is worth seeing. The plot is about 6 strangers: an excellent student Zoey, a stock boy Ben, a day trader Jason, a war veteran Amanda, a tracker Mike, and an escape room enthusiast Danny. Once all of them got small black boxes with an invitation to a quest. They all agreed to come because a winner will receive one million dollars! All they had to do was just to find an escape from every room, in which they were closed. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as simple as it seemed.  The film stars are: Taylor Russell as Zoey Davis, Logan Miller as Ben Miller, Deborah Ann Woll as Amanda Harper, Tyler Labine as Mike Nolan, Jay Ellis as Jason Walker, Nik Dodani as Danny Khan and others.
